Anticipation Mounts

We plan to leave Eureka on Thursday, March 11, and visit John, Chris and the Granddaughters, then launch the actual adventure Friday morning, as we head to Sacramento where we have an appointment at the RV dealer to attach another directional signal on the rear continental spare tire kit since someone determined that the left rear directional signal may not be visible from certain angles because the spare tire blocks it!  So after wasting our precious vacation time there for an hour or so, we will either head east on HWY 50 with Carson City as our first stop or down HWY 99 for Lone Pine where we stayed last year.  The determining factor will be the weather, which this year seems quite variable, as I listen to the torrential rains pound the roof of the house as I type this note.  The monoliths of Monument Valley beckon.
